Our laboratory is seeking an early-stage postdoctoral fellow to discover new downstream mediators for a novel receptor tyrosine kinase, using a unique platform of protein array screening methodology. This will be followed by validation of their biological roles and small molecules for drug targeting purpose. Our laboratory has established promising patient-derived xenografts and genetically modified mouse models that recapitulate clinical progression of epithelial carcinomas for the above screening and drug discovery purpose [Nature. 2014 Dec 3. doi: 10.1038/nature14034, Nat Rev Urol. 2012 Oct;9(10):583-94, Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2012 Feb 7;109(6):2078-83, Cancer Res. 2012 Jul 1;72(13):3135-42]. The candidate must have a minimum of one first-author paper, and ideally a recent graduate (within one year) from US/North America PhD programs.

An ideal candidate will have strong expertise in one of the following areas:
1. Molecular biology of protein-protein interactions, post-translational modifications, protein domains;
2. Signal transduction;
3. Cancer Biology.

Candidate will these techniques will be desirable: Co-Immunoprecipitation and high-throughput drug screening.

Please send us your resume, cover letter indicating your research interests, PDF of your primary paper and name of three primary references….
