 The research in the laboratory focuses on the role of programmed cell death in lymphocyte development and function as well as tumor biology using cell biology and mouse genetics (www.apoptosis.at). The position is initially available for a period of 4 years. The candidate is expected to have documented post-doctoral research experience in one of the above-mentioned fields and the interest to teach and supervise post-graduate students. In addition, the candidate is expected to aim for the attraction of extramural funding and to develop independent research projects.
The Division of Developmental Immunology has just moved into a new research building that is well equipped with core facilities for imaging, flow-cytometry and proteomics and also harbors a new animal facility for SPF breeding & maintenance of rodents.
