Postdoctoral Researcher in Skeletal Development, Disease, and Repair Mechanisms : Durham, NC, United States

A postdoctoral research position is available in the Hilton Laboratory within the Duke Orthopaedic Cellular, Developmental, and Genome Laboratories at Duke University School of Medicine. The primary research focus of this position will utilize novel mouse genetic and surgical models to study skeletal development, disease, and repair/regeneration with an emphasis on identifying underlying molecular mechanisms contributing to normal skeletal development and repair processes. Successful applicants will have recently obtained a PhD degree with a strong background in molecular, cellular, and/or developmental biology. Knowledge of skeletal biology, signaling pathways, and prior experience with genetic mouse models and/or surgical models of skeletal repair is preferred.
