The Mukherjee laboratory (P.I. Siddhartha Mukherjee MD, D.Phil) at Columbia University in New York City works on the bone marrow microenvironment, hematopoiesis, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). Recent work has been published in Cell (2015), Nature (2014) and Nature (2010).
We are seeking a post doctoral researcher to work on stem cell biology. This particular project concerns the development of bone from cartilage and the response of cartilage cells to injury in osteoarthritis. Previous experience with stem cells is a strong consideration. Knowledge of cell biology, tissue culture and molecular biology is an absolute requirement.
Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. degree in Biology, Cell Biology, or related science is required.
