 The aim of the project is to further characterize the effector functions that lead to tissue destruction in the neonatal mouse model for MMP and to explore novel therapeutic targets in this model. The work will involve protein chemistry including molecular biology, expression and purification of proteins, Western blotting, ELISA, RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, direct and indirect immunofluorescence microscopy, cell culture, and experiments with the mouse model. The position is integrated in an international team of post docs, PhD students, and technicians that all work on different aspects of autoimmune blistering diseases. You will work in the lab group of Prof. Enno Schmidt, MD, PhD, and be i!
 ntegrated in the DFG-funded Research Training Group 1727 Modulation of Autoimmunity. We are looking for a candidate that is highly motivated and would like to join our international team. The position is available starting March 1st, 2016 for initially 12 months with prolongation to three years being anticipated.
