Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School (Cambridge, MA): Cambridge, MA, United States

NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow position at Harvard Medical School to work on the development of designer bacterial probiotic strains as novel therapeutic interventions for the treatment of intestinal infections and inflammation. This is a collaborative project involving Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, and Tufts University School of Medicine to outfit secretion competent probiotic strains to deliver therapeutic payloads to the gut. Candidates with a strong background in synthetic biology, bacterial pathogenesis (gastrointestinal pathogens), immunology, and/or molecular biology and genetics are encouraged to apply. Candidates should currently or soon hold a doctoral degree, have less than three years of postdoctoral experience and a proven record of scientific productivity.
