At our site on the EMBL campus in Heidelberg, Germany, we have an opening in our Analytical Sciences department, starting September 1st 2013, for a full time

PhD student in chemical biology and proteomics (m/f)
- contract will be terminated for 3 years-

The thesis project will focus on developing a miniaturized chemoproteomic approach to facilitate target identification and mode-of-action studies of bioactive molecules in disease relevant systems, such as primary cells and tissues.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Masters degree in biochemistry, chemistry or a related field and has already gained hands-on experience in biochemical methods and/or proteomics.
