The Research Associate will generate, obtain, and characterize, both primary murine derived cancer cells and established human cell lines including pancreatic, breast, and HNSCC lines. He/she will perform high throughput (HT) screens, drug sensitivity curves, and will assist with data analysis and bioinformatics. He/she will prioritize targets and perform in vitro and preclinical target validation in both authochthonous and PDX tumor models.
A Ph.D. in the field of molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or genetics and a demonstrated track record of productive and related experience in a cancer biology or related lab as a post-doctoral research fellow are required. Having worked with multiple types of cell lines and working in preclinical target validation is highly desired.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to develop creative approaches to experimental design and be able to function independently and work collaboratively.
