PhD Student in Liver Biology : Bern, Switzerland

A PhD student position in the field of hepatocellular biology is available. The project is aimed to investigate the role of a novel pathway in the progress of liver regeneration, with the aim improve the regenerative capacity of the liver in patients with underlying liver disease. The candidate will work with state-of-the art techniques in molecular & cell biology, cell culture, protein and molecular biology techniques and the use of transgenic models.
Salary: according to the guidelines of the Swiss National Science Foundation

Applicants must hold a European academic degree in natural sciences (MSc or equivalent) acceptable for matriculation as a Ph.D. student at a Swiss University. Students will have to be admitted to the Graduate School for Cellular and Biomedical Sciences, University of Bern.
