The German Cancer Research Center is the largest biomedical research institution in Germany. With more than 2,700 employees, we operate an extensive scientific program in the field of cancer research.

The Division of Clinical Epidemiology and Aging Research is seeking for July 2014 or later a

Scientist
(Ref-No. 93/2014)

Description:
•Studies in the field of clinical epidemiology and aging research
•Participation in local, national and international research consortia
•Conducting advanced statistical analyses
•Supervision and advanced training of doctoral candidates

Your profile:
•PhD level training in the biomedical field, preferably in epidemiology
•Additional qualification and/or experience in epidemiology/ biostatistics, preferably in clinical, genetic or epigenetic epidemiology
•Very good knowledge of epidemiologic analyses and methods
•Substantial experience in working with statistical software (SAS, R)
•Enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary, team-oriented research groups
•Very good command of English

The position is limited for 2 years with the possibility of extension. The position can in principle be part-time.
