Postdoctoral Fellowship-Immunology : Tampa, FL, United States

The Immunology Program at the NCI-designated H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida (USA) welcomes applications for NIH-funded Postdoctoral Fellowships to investigate fundamental mechanisms involved in anti-tumor immunity. Key areas of emphasis are (1) immune suppression in tumor microenvironment and anti-tumor T cell responses and (2) development of novel vaccine and T cell based-immunotherapies. Moffitt Cancer Center has state-of the-art core facilities for cell therapies, flow cytometry, gene profiling, and transgenic mouse models.

Training/Experience: Candidates must demonstrate a genuine interest in immunotherapy against cancer. Individuals with experience in immune assays, flow cytometry, and mouse models will be preferred. Ability in initiating, conducting, evaluating and reporting of research studies is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Education: Preference will be given to those who have recently graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Immunology or related field.
